According to Ukrainian customs statistics, in the first five months of this year, Ukraine imported about 2.19 million tons of bauxite, which is 12.3% more than in the same period a year ago. The import value for this period amounted to about US $ 99.39 million, an increase of 16.8% over the same period last year.
Among them, the three main sources of imports were Guinea, Brazil and Ghana, which accounted for 60.15%, 22.26% and 16.31% of the total supply, respectively.
In addition, from January to May this year, Ukraine re-exported 94 tons of bauxite to Poland, followed by Germany, accounting for 84.21% and 15.79% of the total re-export volume, respectively.
