September 16-17 in the Dnieper will host the second festival of science, technology and modern technologies Interpipe TechFest 2017. Last year the festival gathered 90 participants and 10 thousand visitors, which made it the largest technical and popular science event in Central and Eastern Ukraine.
The festival includes an exhibition, a lectureur (short performances “just about complex”) and a technical orientation competition. About 100 companies have already confirmed their participation in the festival. Among them are industrial enterprises, schools of robotics, technical development studios, technical universities, engineering startups, representatives of the aviation and space industry, manufacturers of equipment from the Dnieper, Kharkov, Zaporozhye and Kyiv.
“Interpipe TechFest is a platform for demonstrating the technical achievements of engineers from all over Ukraine. Here you can see how the aviation engine and a new satellite assembled in our country look like to build its first robot and learn how to make aircraft models, ”comments Dmitry Kisilevsky, director of corporate relations Interpipe. - Interpipe Techfest is a space for companies and educational institutions, engineers with experience and young technicians who build or will build technological Ukraine. ”
The innovation of the festival will be the holding of six types of competitions: by ship and aviation models, drifting radio-controlled models and Robobattlu, Mechatronics and Cyber Grams. Athletes will go to the Dnieper from all over Ukraine. While they will fight for the championship, visitors will be able to see the demonstrative races of tank models. These are copies of armored vehicles made on a scale of 1:10 and 1:16.
For children, the Interpipe Techfest festival will become one of the main cognitive events. Future engineers will see spectacular chemistry and physics, build stellar wars ships from Lego, will take part in master classes from the schools of robotics and studios of young technicians. Parents, meanwhile, will be able to look at the best technical educational institutions.
