Chelyabinsk, Russia - August 14, 2017 - Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant (PJSC "ChMK", is a member of the "Mechel" group) was visited by representatives of the Russian Railways OJSC as part of the network meeting. The delegation of about 80 people examined the technological line for the production of 100-meter rails on the railway camp of the plant. During the visit, strategic partners discussed the prospects for further cooperation.
A working visit to the plant of Russian Railways, headed by the senior vice president of the company Gennady Verkhov, took place as part of the network meeting of the production unit of the infrastructure complex of Russian Railways OJSC, which takes place on August 9-10 in Yekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk.
Representatives of Russian Railways showed how 100-meter rails are produced and they are hardened in a polymer solution according to the technology unique for Russia, due to which the products acquires high operational indicators for wear resistance, strength and endurance. The universal railway station of the CMC is put into work in 2013, this is one of the largest domestic industries of high -quality shaped rental. Serial production of rail rental began at the enterprise in early 2016.
Today, to modernize the transport infrastructure of Russia, the CMC has manufactured about half a million tons of rails, deliveries are carried out as part of a long -term contract with Russian Railways.
