The Zaporozhstal plant provided financial support in the XXI International Festival of National Military and Traditional Cultures "Zaporozhyki Spas" named after Anatoly Yermak with the participation of martial arts from Ukraine, Poland, Georgia and Latvia. To support the festival, the plant "Zaporizhstal" sent 50 thousand hryvnias.
August 18-20, 2017 in Zaporozhye, the XXI International Festival of National Military and Traditional Cultures "Zaporozhyki Savior" named after Anatoly Ermak was held. This project is one of the winners of the social initiative competition “We are a city”, which is annually held by the Zaporizhstal plant. To implement her idea, the All -Ukrainian Federation “Spas” received a grant from the enterprise in the amount of 50 thousand hryvnias.
The Kozatsky festival is aimed at the patriotic education of youth, the popularization of national military cultures, the organization of outdoor activities for residents and guests of the city, as well as an increase in the tourist attractiveness of the Zaporizhzhya region. The festival program includes a historical fencing tournament, master classes on martial arts, exhibition of folk masters, Kozatsky battles “Lava on Lave”.
The Zaporozhstal plant systematically supports and popularizes the traditions of the Cossacks in Zaporozhye. Among the projects previously implemented with the support of the plant is the opening of unique exhibitions of the Cossacks artifacts on Fr. Khortitsa - “Cossacks of Kozatski - Sichi Zaporizki”, “Kozatsky camp”, the opening of cultural objects - a mobile Kozatsky forge, sichs gunarry, Kozatsky troll, system support of the All -Ukrainian Martial Arts “Kozatsky Gart”, the All -Ukrainian entertainment festival “Kozatskiy” Rosvagi ”, so on.
