Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works and Zagorsk Pipe Plant signed an agreement of intent to fully switch to electronic document management by the end of 2021. As part of the agreement, the companies plan to implement a number of joint digitalization projects to improve document management over time. Electronic document flow will affect such areas as the exchange of logistics documentation in corporate information systems using electronic data exchange technology, legally significant electronic document flow of primary accounting documents with the Contour.Dudok integration platform, as well as financial issues through the contractor's electronic platform.
In addition to signing an agreement on a complete transition to electronic document management, the coordinating council also discussed a number of issues aimed at increasing the efficiency of interaction. Among the key issues are the development of promising steel grades, the reduction of costs for the production and transportation of rolled products, as well as the prospect of steel supplies from the 2500 mill after its reconstruction.
