Zaporozhye Metallurgical Plant "Zaporizhstal" allocated UAH 9.8 million for the first stage of overhaul of "Plate 1150" and BTLS-1680 (continuous sheet condition) in the hot rolling shop.
According to the company on Thursday, stable rolling begins with a good condition. Such repairs are carried out in stages throughout the year.
At the first stage, "Tile 1150" received new spindles of the horizontal roller frame, the hydraulic system was repaired, the frame components were restored, as well as individual sections of the roller tables and gearbox. On the BTLS-1680, frame gearbox No. 2 was repaired with replacement of shaft units, the drive line of one of the frames was restored, the gear shaft was replaced, the “spool box” was partially repaired, the winder units were repaired and the chains of individual sections of the roller table were replaced.
