The first steps towards new lighting technologies at the Enterprise were made two years ago. Much has been done during this time. Today we are considering replacing street lamps with modern "Vatra" and "TDS-140". In the near future - the replacement of outdated lamps, which use incandescent lamps (DRL250, 400, 500), with LED lighting.
Of the recent implemented projects, I would like to note the complete replacement of lighting on pedestrian bridges to the Central Gateway of the plant and at the “Domainnaya” bus stop. There, on each tier of the staircase, there were two lamps of 125 W each. The same situation was with the main spans. Now, each pair of luminaires with a total power consumption of 250 W has been replaced with one new 30 W luminaire.
In the past month, at the request of TsSiP, 10 floodlights with two TDS-140 lenses were purchased, the power consumption of one lamp is 140 W. Of this batch, 4 lamps were installed on mast No. 5 (CPM-ingot warehouse SPC-3) to illuminate railway tracks and turnouts. Instead of a 10 kW xenon lamp with a starting device, 3 new luminaires with a turning angle of 60 ° were installed. We get savings only on electricity from 10 thousand W to 420 W - this is more than 20 times less and only on one lighting mast.
The same lamps with two Vatra lenses, but with an energy consumption of 100 W, are used at the Enterprise for the systematic replacement of lighting of roads and sidewalks of the plant. It is important to note that the only costly part of the project is the cost of new lamps and their transportation. But the dismantling of the old and the installation of new equipment will be performed by qualified employees of the TsSiP.
