Australia issues final ruling on chrome steel rods from Romania

The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission has announced that the Australian Minister of Industry, Science and Technology has accepted the Commission's final recommendation for the first anti-dumping review of chrome steel imported from Romania and has decided to extend the AD measures on said products from September 8, 2021.

On November 10, 2015, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission initiated an AD investigation into chrome-plated steel bars imported from Italy and Romania. at the request of Milltech Pty Ltd.

On September 7, 2016, the Commission issued a final decision on AD duties, upholding the preliminary decision to discontinue the investigation against Italy, and ruled that Romania's dumping margin ranges from 22.4% to 66.9%.
