The Kametstal plant of the Metinvest mining and metallurgical group (Kamenskoye, Dnepropetrovsk region) in 2025 took into account the demands of the Ukrainian and European markets, expanding the line of continuous cast billets (CC) by four positions and the range of popular long products by three.
According to the company, in 2025 "Kametstal" once again confirmed its leading position among metallurgical enterprises of "Metinvest" in terms of the number of assorted new products developed. Of the 11 new types of steel products supplied to the market, seven are the merit of the Kametstal team.
It is clarified that the production of the steelmaking plants of the converter shop consists of four new steel grades: 10U1, 20U, 26G2TR and S355NL-1N with increased requirements for the chemical composition, primarily in terms of sulfur content and phosphorus.
