China increased its primary aluminum production by 2.4% to 45.02 million tons in 2025, the National Statistics Office reports.
In particular, 3.87 million tons of metal were supplied to the market in December, which is 3% more than in the same month a year earlier.
Production of ten major non-ferrous metals increased by 3.9% last year to reach 81.75 million tons. Production volume in December increased by 4.9%, amounting to 7.21 million tons.
The main non-ferrous metals include copper, aluminum, lead, zinc, nickel, tin, antimony, mercury, magnesium and titanium.
