The Zaporozhye metallurgical plant "Zaporizhstal" in January-May of this year reduced the shipment of rolled products by 6.3% compared to the same period last year - to 1 million 28.5 thousand tons from 1 million 97.3 thousand tons.
According to the company's press release on Monday, steel production in the first five months of the year amounted to 1 million 158.1 thousand tons (in January-May 2025 - 1 million 296.8 thousand tons), cast iron - 1.255 million tons (1 million 426.9 thousand tons).
In May, Zaporizhstal produced 242.1 thousand tons of cast iron, 243.4 thousand tons of steel, 208.9 thousand tons of rolled products were shipped, while in the previous month it produced 193.5 thousand tons of cast iron, 156.6 thousand tons of steel, 159.1 thousand tons of rolled products were shipped.
