American Nucor Corp., one of the largest U.S. steel companies, increased net income nearly 32% and increased revenue 8.6% in the fourth quarter of 2025, while the company's results were weaker than analysts had expected.
The company said in a press release that net income in the October-December quarter rose to $378 million, or $1.64 per share, compared with $287 million, or $1.22 per share, for the same period last year. Adjusted earnings were $1.73 per share.
Nucor's revenue increased to $7.69 billion from $7.08 billion a year earlier.
Analysts, whose consensus forecast was provided by FactSet, estimated the company's adjusted earnings at $1.91 per share on revenue of $7.91 billion
